Coordinator, Researcher at INFORSE-Europe
Gunnar Boye Olesen holds an MSc. in Mechanical Engineering specialized on renewable energy and energy planning. He has been the coordinator, researcher, and leader of the Secretariat of INFORSE-Europe since 2002. He has more than 35 years’ experience in development of energy strategies and scenarios for transition to 100 % renewable-energy and low-emission societies, including sufficiency policies. He has been a researcher and contributor of development of policies for energy efficiency and local use of renewable energy in Denmark, European countries, developing countries and on EU level, including policies for EU Ecodesign regulations.
